This picture taken today shows the beauty and variety of the Border Region. From woodland to farmland to rolling hills to the snow capped Cheviots. This picture also captures a bird of prey in flight hovering looking for its next meal. Few other regions in Britain have such a varied rural landscape, rich with habitat for many different birds and animals.
